In 2008 the Buckingham Festival teamed up with Rockhopper Studios, a local recording studio with a very unique offering.

The Rockhopper is a professional recording studio with the latest top flight equipment combined with fantastic acoustics. All of this is contained in a 1963 Airstream Caravan - a unique combination of vintage and modern.

The Rockhopper is uniquely flexible. It can record individuals, groups or choirs either inside the trailer or on location at events. Singers, songwriters, bands, and ensembles have all marvelled at the Rockhopper’s capabilities and the wonderful results it can produce.

Added to that, the Rockhopper’s “hands on” approach means that it can be used for musical and technical training or coaching.

They can produce music in any format required and can also help with videos, websites and other multimedia needs.

 The Rockhopper will be stationed at University of Buckingham Chandos Road and will be offering individuals or groups the opportunity to record a piece of music.
